About Me:
I’m Gage Sigil. I like long walks on the beach, and I-
No, that’s not right… Let’s try again:
What I really like is creating things. As a child, I loved to write and illustrate my own comic books (which will NOT be making an appearance on this site). As a teenager, I wrote poetry and performed in theatrical productions. In college, I pursued songwriting and music production. But through it all, I’ve always pursued the one thing I love more than anything else: storytelling.
Originally, I moved to Nashville to study sound design and music production; I graduated Belmont University with a bachelors degree in audio engineering technology and a minor in music theory. But while I still rely on those skills for some of the work I do, I work on plenty of things besides music. Books, articles, screenplays, podcasts, video games - I’ll write basically anything!
When I’m not writing, I’m probably reading. But if I’m not doing that, I like to watch movies, play piano, and pester my lovely girlfriend. Occasionally, I like to lay down in a cool patch of earth and stare unblinkingly into the endless void for hours at a time. Most people probably call that “stargazing,” but I think its less fun that way.
